In terms of translatability, there is an increasing trend towards developing more high-precision knock-ins/outs of genes at the endogenous mouse loci of AD-related genes allowing for more accurate expression levels in the context of mouse physiology and mitigating any issues related to random integrations or overexpression that can lead to off- target effects.
