In the crude analyses, a borderline significant impact of the intervention was discernable (Group×Period×Time RR=1.02; 95% CI: 1.00 to 1.05) suggesting an additional increase in loneliness following the policy corresponding to a 2% steeper postintervention trend in 2020 than in 2019 and relative to the underlying preintervention trends.
