A systematic review concluded that post-transplantation eGFR (at 12 months) is associated with risk for overall or death-censored graft loss, and all-cause mortality, in univariate and multivariate analyses ( 40 ), although such a highly significant association does not necessarily translate into good predictive capability ( 41 ).
