Although not statistically significant, likely due to small number of subjects in this pilot study, there was a trend in increased sleep duration after the intervention (MD of 36 more minutes compared to controls) and a favorable trend in fasting glucose levels (a difference of 8.8 mg/dL lower compared to controls) which is clinically significant, especially in this group of women who are at high risk of developing diabetes.
