Quantitative analysis of the visual pathway revealed no significant demyelination (optic tract, p < 0.68; pretectal nucleus, p < 0.61; lateral geniculate nucleus, p < 0.93; and superior colliculus, p < 0.86) although the effect in the visual cortex was on the cusp of significance ( p < 0.051) (Supplementary Fig. 1 ).
