Pearson correlation coefficients between different titration points of the same animal (technical variation) and Pearson correlation coefficients between the same titration point of different animals (biological variation) are approximately equal, suggesting that the highly significant correlations between biological replicates observed in this study are conservative relative to the remaining technical variation in our measurements.
