At the same time, 12-year-olds in the Control group showed results very close to statistical significance in the correlation analysis at baseline, as well as at the 3-year period ( Table 6 ), and this may mean that the enlargement of the study sample of 12-year-olds in the Control group would have shown a statistically significant linkage between dental caries parameters and “Sugar-intake frequency” ( Table 6 ).
