Trends in avoidable hospitalizations in a developed City in eastern China: 2015 to 2018.

Results From 2015 to 2018, the absolute number of hospitalized cases in the city was 1,411,532, 1,725,357, 1,870,322 and 1,936,994, showing an increasing trend on a year-to-year basis; the absolute number of avoidable hospitalization cases was 81,095, 117,922, 106,087 and 125,372, thus indicating a trend of increasing while fluctuating (Table 1 ).
