Maternal depression and self-regulation of emotion and behavior in children A decreasing trend was estimated between children's self-regulation of emotions and behaviors and higher severity of moderate (10–14 points [PR: 0.67; 95% CI: 0.46–0.98]) and severe (15–27 points [PR: 0.48; 95% CI: 0.26–0.86]) maternal depressive symptoms in the crude model.
