In our first detailed report on the airborne pollen spectrum in the atmosphere of Qatar (Al-Nesf et al., 2020), results showed that there is a highly significant association between the Amaranthaceae extract SPT results and the symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis of patients attending allergic clinics in Qatar and recorded during the pollen season pattern of Amaranthaceae pollen.
