Although the involvement of benzodiazepines, gabapentinoids, and alcohol in the occurrence of opioid overdose is well-described in the literature ( 54 – 58 ), the highly significant increase in this risk in our multivariate analysis ( Figure 2 ) should attract the attention of practitioners.
