From winds alone, we find a decreasing trend of −0.10 ± 0.022 ppm decade −1 (−1.5 ± 0.33% decade −1 ) since 1959 based on Jena‐W simulations, offsetting ∼30% of the increase of 0.22 + 0.10 = 0.32 ppm decade −1 (4.8% decade −1 ) expected from ecological flux changes alone.
