While episodes of premature ventricular contractions (PVCs), non-sustained ventricular tachycardia (NSVT), and sustained ventricular tachycardia were significantly reduced in ARNI treatment, there was only a statistical trend in the reduction of atrial fibrillation episodes reported ( p = 0.07; ns) ( 31 ).
Preincubation (1 h) and the presence of Sac in combination with Val in concentrations matching the peak plasma levels found in patients treated orally with an ARNI showed a slight trend toward an increased inotropy with ISO compared to control ( Figures 2D–F ) at 1 Hz, but otherwise had no significant effects on developed force or kinetics (time to peak, half time of relaxation, or relaxation constant tau; data not shown).
