The sentences
administered a total of 3 courses of FMT (1 time/d for 6 d, repeating a course after 1 and 3 months) to patients with FC, assuming complete spontaneous defecation ≥ 3 times as the criterion for clinical remission, with a decreasing trend in remission rates from week 4 onwards, again confirming that short-term efficacy (4 weeks) was superior to long-term efficacy (1 year) [ 24 ].
