Although the blood pressure responses in the present study were consistent with the previous dryland-exercise studies [ 34 , 38 ], our study was the first study to demonstrate that DD genotype participants had higher blood pressure response and an increasing trend of baPWV than II/ID genotype one after aquatic exercise.
