At 0.1% ME treated seeds, non-significant increase in syncyte cells were noticed in PI, MI, and TI phase, which was 0.33, 0.48 and 0.64% respectively and in AI phase, significant increase (p < 0.05) in syncyte cells (0.71%) was observed and further increase in concentrations from 0.2 to 0.5%, highly significant increase (p < 0.01) in syncyte cells were noticed when compared to control at 3 h.
