Further, 56% of participants answered “fluoroquinolones” as most commonly prescribed group for urinary tract infection, with highly significant difference between three groups ( p -value < 0.00001). “Third-generation cephalosporins” (31.33%) were opted as most commonly prescribed antibiotic group for preoperative prophylaxis of surgical site infection followed by “extended-spectrum penicillin” (21.33%) and “first-generation cephalosporins” (18%).
