38 Data from the Swedish Longitudinal Occupational Survey of Health study showed that job strain was a highly significant predictor of AF (OR: 1.93) when the exposure time was more than 10 years. 39 There was evidence in a cardiovascular disease study that objective or subjective lack of social support was associated with a higher risk of developing cardiovascular diseases and a higher risk of mortality, 40 so it should be reasonable that enhancing social support for patients with arrhythmia diseases could at least partially improve their prognosis.
