17 Life-threatening manifestations in food anaphylaxis are generally caused by respiratory compromise; therefore, underlying bronchial hyperactivity in asthma or RW are likely to be significant risk factors. 18 , 19 Little is known whether asthma or RW comorbidity is related to the clinical profile of anaphylaxis.
