33 , 34 In a clinical experiment that compared the utility of fresh and frozen/thawed bispecific anti-CD19/CD20 CAR-T cells for treating R/R NHL, Shah et al 35 found that the average viability of cryopreserved CAR-T cells at the time of infusion was significantly lower than that of fresh CAR-T cells. Moreover, in patients receiving fresh products, the expansion, activity, and persistence of CAR-T cells showed an increasing trend.
