Although not statistically significant, it is worth noting that the risk of an e-scooter-related injury was nearly twice as great for crashes that occurred on the sidewalk and the shoulder or vehicle lane of a neighborhood street, in reference to the bike lane (see Table 3 for the borderline significant results).
