23 They might be significant as a source of creativity. 24 They may be experienced as socially and personally significant, conferring a particular sense of self-identity as a voice hearer and providing a source of meaning. 25 Spiritually significant voices may or may not be significant for any or all of these reasons, but they are distinctive by virtue of the spiritual interpretation that is placed on them or—perhaps more correctly—is an integral part of the experienced voice.
