The evaluation of fouling for that period, however, as indicated by the Δ P increase of the hot middle pressure separator ( Figure 1 a), fouling resistance factor of the H-Oil naphtha reboiler using ATB as a heating medium ( Figure 1 b), and skin temperature readings in the bottoms of the atmospheric and vacuum towers ( Figure 2 a,b), did not show evidence toward an increasing trend.
