Interestingly, when correlating these data with the CTC analysis, we noticed that a positive response to TAA was highlighted in the 42% of patients showing CTC below the cut-off (5 out of 12) ( 32 ), while in cases with CTC above the cut-off no specific T-cell responses against TAA were detectable (marginally significant, Fisher’s exact test, p=0.05, Table 3 , Figure 1B ).
