The increasing trend in temperature is most prominent in northern China and northwestern Mongolia (north of 45°N and west of 106°E) in spring, exhibiting an increasing trend of ~1 °C decade −1 , which is comparable to the increasing temperature trend at high latitudes during 1982–2013 14 .
