Conclusions In conclusion, our study also supports the evidence already present in the literature, attributing a definitely significant role to PRAME in the complex differential diagnosis between dysplastic melanocytic nevi and malignant melanomas, while remembering that there is a subgroup of lesions that can express, even quite intensely, this immunomarker.
