Comparison of distance D among different vertebral segmentation The distances from the left nerve root to the midline of the intervertebral disk (referred as distance D) at the level of the L2–3, L3–4, and L4–5 intervertebral spaces were 14.94 ± 2.31 mm, 13.88 ± 2.61 mm, and 11.04 ± 2.55 mm, respectively, showing a decreasing trend from top to bottom, as shown in Table 6 .
