Conclusions Even if the associations were at the limit of significance, our results suggest that the concentration of environmental pollutants (PM 2.5 and NO 2 ) five years before cancer diagnosis is associated with TP53 -mutated NSCLC, using improved estimation methods to assess air pollution.
