This signifies a decreasing trend of the electron transfer impedance ( R ct ) as well as an increase in the charge transfer rate at this interface after co-sensitization. 42 Under dark conditions ( Fig. 7a ), the appearance of the two semicircles in Nyquist plots at high and middle-frequency regions are attributed to the redox reaction at the Pt counter electrode and the electron transfer at the TiO 2 /dye/electrolyte interface.
