In a subgroup of patients whose estradiol levels were available (n = 161), their mean levels in pM exhibited a decreasing trend followed by a small increase [T1: 191.90 ± 232.18, T2: 94.74 ± 116.64, T3: 98.21 ± 150.91, p < 0.001] with significant difference found at T2-T1 and T3-T1, although the mean estradiol level at the end of chemotherapy was still 2 times less than the baseline value.
