There was also a statistically highly significant moderate degree of correlation regarding the presence of H. pylori -like + H. suis DNA in the pars oesophagea, as well as a statistically significant low degree of correlation between the presence of H. pylori -like and H. suis in the pars oesophagea ( r = 0.29 p ≤ 0.05) and oxyntic mucosa ( r = 0.25, p ≤ 0.05) (Table 4 ).
