The improvement in sound localization in active (28.0 cm ± 2.3) compared to static listening (31.2 cm ± 2.1) emerged as marginally significant ( F (1,19) = 3.97, p = 0.061, n g 2 = 0.02), but was significant in front space when taking into account listening posture (active = 27.6 ± 3.4 cm, static = 34.5 ± 3.7 cm; F (1,19) = 7.67, p = 0.012, n g 2 = 0.02).
