Annualized incidence rates for recurrent VTE were 3.49 per 100 patient‐years (95% CI, 2.96–4.11), with a nonsignificant trend toward higher rates in the FIRST registry (4.08/100 patient‐years [95% CI, 3.28–5.06]) compared to the DRESDEN NOAC registry (2.93/100 patient‐years [95% CI, 2.28–3.76]) (Figure 1A ; Table S6 ).
