NO 2 -mortality associations were observed among smokers and alcohol drinkers only, corresponding to an estimated HR of 1.200 [1.075–1.339] and 1.263 [1.087–1.468] associated with a 10-μg/m 3 increase in annual NO 2 exposure, both suggesting a marginal significance for effect differences between stratum.
