When these outliers were removed from the model, sperm viability was not influenced by diet treatment ( Table 1C ), although there remained a statistical trend suggesting that experiment influenced sperm viability, with sperm viability being higher in the males from the adult diet experiment compared with males from the developmental diet experiment ( Table 1C ).
