There was a highly significant difference in scab prevalence between the three regions in 2020 ( χ 2 = 13.6, df = 2, P = 0.001), with prevalence highest in the Midlands (26.9% ± 10.5%; n = 25), followed by the North (19.3% ± 9%; n = 16) and lowest in the Southwest (7.0% ± 5.6%; n = 7) (Table 1 ).
