Our data revealed that in PD patients carrying different PARK2 mutations, the H 2 O 2 levels were significantly higher with respect to the healthy control (NHDF), indicating that an oxidative stress status has occurred in these patients ( Figure 3 ), even if an increasing trend in ROS levels is present in PD patients ( p value ns).
