Nevertheless, we did observe a slight trend of higher sTREM-1 levels between the comorbidity subgroups of the three matched groups: (1) in immunological alterations, higher sTREM-1 concentrations in the Acute-CoV group; (2) in neurological diseases and patients without comorbidities, sTREM-1 concentrations were slightly higher in the Post-CoV group.
