When investigating the GM volume changes across sessions, we observed a symmetrical pattern of highly significant group differences (Fig. 1 , Supplementary Table 1 ), and post hoc analyses revealed that each of these clusters reflected reductions in regional GM in the women who were pregnant between the time points (Supplementary Table 2 ).
