A highly significant reduction of oocysts number was observed after treatment with allicin at a concentration of 180 mg/mL, followed by an alcoholic garlic extract (360 mg/mL) and allicin 90 mg/mL; 88.3 ± 1.2%, 73.35 ± 2.2%, 72.7 ± 1.7%, respectively, ( p < 0.001%).
