The suppression of phospholipase activity led to an enormous increase in the lipid’s free-radical oxidation, which was almost two times higher than the level of lipid peroxidation of the untreated cells in the case of the lowest dose of the venom, but less at the 10 μg/well concentration, and almost insignificant for the highest concentration of the BPB-blocked venom.
