Limitations The empirical findings in this study have some value, but the scale design process only considered individuals as selfie information disseminators, while ignoring the perspective of information reception, the scope of the study group focused on the Chinese youth population, and there may be significant differences in selfie behavior and related social anxiety psychology among different populations, and also whether the empirical results can be adapted to the cultures of other countries needs further investigation and verification.
