There is fortunately an encouraging trend in the amount of research on disparities in Latin America. 91 A growing body of work, particularly around sex‐ and gender‐based differences in cardiovascular disease patients is accumulating. 92 , 93 , 94 , 95 , 96 , 97 , 98 , 99 , 100 While this work has brought increased visibility on the data and best practices to advance care, there is global lag in translation of findings into clinical policies and national policy.
