There was a marginally significant interaction between country and perceived severity (β = -0.22, Wald χ 2 (1) = 3.07, p = .08) such that the negative effect of perceived severity on selecting eating in was only significant for US participants (β = -0.26, Wald χ 2 (1) = 8.91, p < .01) but not for Australian participants (β = -0.04, Wald χ 2 (1) = 0.21, p > .6).
