In fact, the results obtained from the statistical analysis herein conducted fit well with the results obtained from the processing of Sentinel 2 data jointly carried out by CNR and Carabinieri [ 35 ] and shown in Figure 9 ; the dark grey pixels (in Figure 9 d) indicate the areas affected by a decreasing trend (site degradation) as a resulting effect of the parasite attacking the pinus trees; the white pixels are related to areas involved in increasing trend, mainly linked to agricultural activities.
