The regression analysis of δ 15 N values of C3 and C4 herbs and MAT led to a correlation that was extremely significant ( p < 0.001), but the temperature only explained 30.12% (C3 herbs) and 32.48% (C4 herbs) of the observed variation ( Figure 5 c,d), demonstrating that there was no significant difference in the responses of δ 15 N value of C3 and C4 herbs to temperature.
