The presence of significant PHT often requires evaluation of suitability for lung transplantation (LTx).[ 2 ] The most appropriate time for LTx is determined based on the PHT diagnosis and an increasing trend in pulmonary artery pressure (PAP) values.[ 3 ] Right heart catheterization (RHC) and transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) are routine tests performed in patients undergoing transplant assessment at LTx centers.
