Another RCT in North India reported a small borderline significant beneficial effect of 1·8 μg vitamin B 12 supplementation given daily for 6 months on neurodevelopment in young children, with the most pronounced effect among children who had evidence of vitamin B 12 deficiency and who were stunted at study start ( 14 ) .
