In the last 28 years, there has been an increasing trend in the bio-load of domestic livestock [ 12 ], which is found to be highest (16.0–54.7%) in sheep, followed by buffaloes (28.3–48.0%), cows (6.0–39.3%), and goats (9.4–20%) [ 13 ].
