It can be seen from the figure that the contact angle of the wood specimens showed a decreasing trend with the increase in Bi doping amount; when the doping amount increased from 0 to 2%, the contact angle decreased from 125.9° to 91.4°, indicating that the increase in Bi 2 O 3 would reduce the hydrophobicity of the silica–titanium composite film on the wood surface.
